Anantnag, Apr 22: Congress team undertook a door to door campaign in favour of Congress candidate Ghulam Ahmed Mir in the Anantnag constituency. The campaigning team headed by General Secretary PCC Th. Manmohan Singh, accompanied by Rajnish Sharma (Co-treasurer), Shahnawaz Choudhary-General Secretary PCC, Pranav Shagotra (Ex-PYC President), Kulveer Singh Pathania, Pankaj Sharma, Aijaz Choudhary, Sahil Langeh and others. While campaigning in the area they said that G. A. Mir has remained on the forefront for highlighting the issues of people of J&K, especially the Kashmir Valley and he deserves to be extended full support. PCC leaders also highlighted the UPA-I & UPA-II governments who extended all sorts of help to state government for addressing the issues of different sections of the society and remarkable development took place in Jammu and Kashmir during UPA regime at the Centre. They appealed to the people to exercise their franchise in favour of Congress candidate G.A. Mir, as Congress guarantees for peace and prosperity in the state and the country. |
