| DM orders inspection of brick kilns | | |

Rajouri, Apr 22: District Magistrate Rajouri, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today ordered for the inspection of brick kilns in district Rajouri.
The inspection was conducted by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Nowshera, SS Sambyal, Additional Deputy commissioner Sunderbani, Vinod Kumar and Assistant Commissioner Revenue Rajouri Mohammad Ashraf in Nowshera zone, Sunderbani zone and in Rajouri zone respectively. It is pertinent to mention here that the inspections have been conducted after the public raised the issue of unregulated operations of brick kilns in Siot area.
In Nowshera zone, the teams have inspected a total of 9 brick kilns, 3 brick kilns owners were issued notices for not following the norms.
These include M/S Om Brick kiln Lamber, M/S BBK brick kiln Lambert and M/S VVK Brick kiln Lamberi. In sunderbani zone, a total of 06 brick have been inspected and found out that all are operating under norms and have required documents with them.
In Rajouri the 4 brick kiln were inspected by the teams and three proprietors were directed to submit the required documents to the office of the district Magistrate within one day other wise strict action as per norms will be taken against the defaulters. |
