Jammu, Apr 25: Samooh theatre performed Dogri adaptation of Gurudev Rabindernath Tagore's "Dak Ghar" (a flight) directed by Ravinder Sharma in Natya Utsav in memory of late Kavi Rattan Sharma. The festival is organized by Unison Cultural Trope and Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee & Film Personality Sh. Mushtaq Kak is the festival Director. Adaptation of the play is done by Dr. Sudhir Mahajan. Brij Mohan and Surinder Manhas designed the music of play. The characters in the play showcased their usher talent of acting spell bounded the audience spell bound at the periphery of their seats. During the play, many a times performances were applauded turned the atmosphere cherished. The actors who performed in the play were Sandeep Manhas, Neeraj Sethi, Ravinder Sharma, Sakshav Raina, Ajay Tamangh, Chetan Charak,, Vinay Sharma, Shiv Bhora, Ritika Singh, Kousar Chandpuri, Rohan Singh, Ayushi Bhat, Kartavya Singh, Shubham and Devanshu Raina. The play was directed by Ravinder Sharma, Choreography was done by Rohit Bains. Lights were designed by Ravinder Sharma and operated by Sunil Sharma and Shubam Nag. Set was designed by Sandeep Thakur and Samdhish. Make-up was executed by Shammi Dhamir and Shubam Nag. Princy Bhat designed by costumes and Anita Chandpuri looked after the whole production. |
