| Sartingle residents flay R&B Deptt for dilapidated road | | |  Abid Hussain Wani

Bhaderwah, Apr 25: Irked over the attitude of R&B Deptt authorities, Bhaderwah residents registered protest over dilapidated roads on Thursday.
Students and a number of people from Sartingle and its adjoining areas held protest demonstration against the R&B departement over poor condition of Sartingle-Padri road. Protesters assembled at main Sartingle Chowk, Bhaderwah market and raised slogans against the R&B and PHE department, elected representatives, district administration and blocked the road for more than hour. Talking to Early Times, protesters said that, concerned department has ignored the Sartingle-Padri road despite repeated requests from the locals. Another issue is that, PHE pips leakages at many places which badly affected the road but PHE department is also in deep slumber as no repair work was undertaken. Locaks sought immediate intervention of District administration Doda into the matter ro redress this issues which affected thousands of tourists. |
