Poonch, Apr 27: Poonch people have expressed serious concern over continued absence of teachers in government schools saying the career of students has beenput into jeopardy.
Seeking biometric devices to ensure punctuality of teachers, the hapless parents urged the authorities to take stern action against teachers who remain absent very often. "We cannot compromise on education of our children. If the government fails to set things right, we will be left with no alternative but to resort to direct action, " a parent told Early Times.
Similar views were expressed by a group of parents who had plans to take up the matter with the Chief Education Officer (CEO). |
