Not sure of her own victory from Anantnag, Mehbooba predicts BJP's debacle across country | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 27: She is facing one of the toughest political battles of her life but the former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti is confident that BJP is not going to form next government at the Centre. Although her victory from Anantnag Parliamentary constituency is uncertain as per reports coming from first phase of polling yet she is busy in predicting voting held on first three phases of the Lok Sabha elections across the country. "Na nau mann tel hoga Aur na radha nachegi BJP's performance in the phases held until now has been pathetic. Gathbandan's doing very well. Therefore neither will BJP be reelected nor will they scrap Article 370. Khwaab dekhtay raho!",Mehbooba posted in her twitter account to taunt the BJP. Interestingly Mehbooba Mufti had miserable failed to mobilize her own hardcore supporter and relatives to cast votes in the first phase of the three-phased Anantnag Parliament seat, she is twitting on BJP's performance across the country. Earlier this afternoon, she hit out at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his remarks on abrogating Article 370. "If (PM) Modi thinks that Kashmir is in loss because of Article 370 then why they don't leave Kashmir," replied Mehbooba when asked by the reporters to respond to the Prime Minister's remark on Article 370. She also talked tough about PDP's former ally, Congress and the National Conference. "When Azad Sahab became chief minister of the state he sold Kashmiri land to the Shrine Board. Did he not think of Article 370 at that time?" Mehbooba questioned. The PDP president also came down heavily on NC founder Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah. "Sheikh Sahab accepted the chief minister's seat after signing the infamous accord 1975 with the then prime minister Indira Gandhi. Did National Conference not think of the special status of the state," she questioned. |
