| Seminar on Start-ups, Innovations held at Govt Polytechnic | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 27: A day-long seminar on Start-up hubs, Incubations and Innovations was organized by Government Polytech-nic Jammu in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Develop-ment Institute (JKEDI).
The seminar was inaugurated by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu, who in his welcome address impressed upon students to be focused for achieving their goals and attaining success in their life and inspired the students to pursue innovations and entrepreneurship and motivated them to become job provider rather than job seekers.
Irtif Lone, Incharge Officer Start-ups and Incubation, JKEDI, Jammu gave lecture to final year students of all the branches of Engineering Department about the scope of entrepreneur and motivated the students to become successful entrepreneur.
Rayees Manzoor, Faculty, JKEDI briefed the students about the various schemes of state and center regarding Startups, incubations centers and entrepreneurship traits to be developed for becoming successful entrepreneur viz. Leadership, moderate risk takers and management skills. He explained the importance of becoming Entrepreneur for social and economic development of the nation. Students were informed regarding various loan scheme, eligibility and subsidy provided by JKEDI to become entrepreneur.
The seminar was attended by the faculty and final year's students of all branches of Engineering departments. |
