| Kapahi, Bhatia elected President, Secy of JKYA | | |

JAMMU, Apr 27: In the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of J&K Yoga Association (JKYA), the members of the Association reposed their faith in Akhil Kapahi and Vinod Bhatia and elected them as President and Secretary of the Association till next general elections. The decision necessitated due to the resignation of Deepak Honda as the President and Surender Pathak as the Secretary of the Association. Both have resigned quoting personal reasons.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere under the chairmanship of Deepak Honda. Kiran Wattal, Former Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corpooration and Vice President of J&K Olympic Association was the observer from the parent body i.e. J&K State Olympic Association. New President whose name was proposed by Deepak Honda and seconded by Dr Ashutosh Sharma promised to work for the promotion of sports in general and yoga in particular. Dushyant Sharma, President J&K Olympic Association was also present on the occasion. |
