| JMC Mayor convenes meeting of engineering wing | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 27: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta today convened a meeting of engineering wing of JMC and took stock of the developmental works.
According to press release, Jashpal Singh joint Commissioner (Works) Arun Gupta XEN, JMC, Assistant Executive Engineers & JE's of Civil, mechanical and electrical wing attended the meeting.
Mayor directed all the engineering wing to work with dedication as the development works are done at a very slow speed and requires to speed up all the pending & new development activities including parking projects at different places of city and development of parks and green patches as per the guidelines of National green Tribunal.
All the rotaries should be developed and fountains should be installed at suitable places of the city and all the other departments i,e PWD, PHE, BSNL, JIO etc may be directed to obtain prior permission from JMC before digging any roads/lanes within the Jammu Municipal Corporation limits. |
