r.s pURA, Apr 27: Ankit Sharma of B.A. Semester II of Government Degree College, R.S. Pura brought laurels to the college by winning gold medal in 15th J&K State Wushu championship. The championship was organized by J&K Wushu Association of J&K w.e.f. 24-26th April at University of Jammu, Jammu. Ankit Sharma is also a Bronze Medalist in All India Inter University Wushu Championship and has been selected to represent the country at the 8th World Kungfu Wushu Championship at Emeishan (China) from 14th to 19th June, 2019. Principal of the college Dr. Sunita Sudan applauded the efforts of the student and wished him good luck for the upcoming championship. Members of the college Sports Committee namely Dr. Ajay Singh Dadwal, Prof. Balwan Singh, Prof. Esha Abrol, Dr. Sukhdeep Singh Sasan, Prof. Shaveta Chowdhary, Prof. Vishal Sharma and college PTI Kajal Premi also appreciated the efforts of Ankit. |
