Poonch, May 2: District Development commissioner Rahul Yadav has taken serious note of news item carried by this paper regarding 63 KV electric transformer uninstalled at Kasab Village in Mendhar Sub Division for the last 18 years. Lambasting Power Development department after taking cognizance of news items published in ET Rahul Yadav directed Executiive Engineer Poonch, Maqbool Nayak to submit the report to his office in stipulated time period. He said the appropriate reasons should be cited in this report as why the people of village Kasab have been deprived of the uninterrupted power suplly when they had a 63 KV electric transformer available at their disposal along with concrete poles and why the department could not install it for 18 years and left the government property to become a scrap on the road side.
He in tough words asked for detailed report from the officer and warned of serious action if he fails to comply with the order. |
