| Vipan elected president Mahajan Sabha Channi Himmat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 5: Vipan Gupta was elected as President of Mahajan Sabha, Channi Himmat, Jammu in a election held here today at the premises of Institution of Engineers (India), Channi Himmat by way of Ballot Papers. The whole election process was conducted in a free and fare manner under the supervision of Retired Honb'le Session Judge Sh. Justice Munish Gupta as Election Commission and Dr. Amit Gupta Returning Officer. About 363 total votes were polled out of which Vipan Gupta secured 185 votes to win the presidential chair whereas the contender namely Ashok Gupta retired drug controller secured 178 votes. Er Ashok Jandyal former and outgoing president thanked all the members of the Mahajan Sabha Channi Himmat who have participated in the election process. |
