| DPS Nagbani organizes lecture on Swacch Bharat | | |

JAMMU, May 8: Delhi Public School (DPS) Nagbani today organized a lecture on "Swacch Bharat". The resource person Kewal Krishan Wadehra addressed the students by saying that being the future of India; the students can lead the cleanliness drive in their society and schools to initiate cleanliness in the surrounding areas.
Cleanliness is a major social issue in India and his campaigns deal with how to solve the problem arisen due to lack of cleanliness in India.
He motivated the students and the staff for keeping themselves, their surrounding and their city neat and clean. He also asked the students to say "No to Polythene bags" instead they can use cloth bags. Moreover, he presented cloth bags to the school authorities and distributed gifts among the students.
The students participated in different activities with full enthusiasm and took oath that they will keep their surrounding and city neat and clean and use cloth bags only.
The principal of the school, R K Verma thanked Wadehra for sharing his valuable words and spending his time with the students. He presented memento as a token of love for the services rendered by Wadehra selflessly for the society. |
