Jammu, May 10: An awareness and practical demonstration regarding Solid Waste Management was taken up by members of SWM team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) at EWS Colony, Roop Nagar Jammu. Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Nodal Officer, Solid Waste Management, JMC and Master Jorawar Singh told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. People carefully listened and determined to take up such fruitful case in homes as well as surrounding people were shown container of Blue and Green colour to collect organic and inorganic waste of their home in separate manner. These initiatives are taken by the team of JMC to change the behaviour of the people. Programme attended by Ashwani Kumar, Ved Pal Sharma and other team of JMC installed the banners and posters. |
