BBIA elects office bearers | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 25: Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) today reconstituted the organization with re-election of Lalit Mahajan as president. According to press release, the elections were held under election commissioners Sudhir Kumar, Taranjit Singh Sahni, Ram Langer, S.S. Wazir and Vinod Jamwal. The total votes casted in the election were 210 out of 232 eligible voters. Lalit Mahajan was elected President for term 2019-21 by scoring 189 votes defeating Rakesh Bhat who scored 18 votes while 3 vote were invalid. Tarun Singla was elected Sr. Vice President by scoring 170 votes defeating Parvinder Singh Jaggi who scored 32 votes, 8 votes were invalid. The candidates which were elected unopposed were Ajay Langer Vice President, Viraaj Malhotra General Secretary, Rajeah Jain Secretary and Vivek Singhal Treasurer. |
