| World Environment Day: CRPF plants trees at Jammu Airport | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 5: On the occasion of World Environment Day, a plantation programme was organized by 166 Bn CRPF in collaboration with Airport Authority of India. During the programme, plants were distributed among children by CRPF with an appeal to plant more trees and save environment. Chief Guest of the programme, Nitu, DIG CRPF Jammu Range thanked Director Airport Jammu for their participation in the programme. She emphasized upon the importance of trees and while describing their role in maintaining environmental balance, she appealed all people present there to keep organizing such pious programs. Pravat Ranjan Beuria, Director Airport Jammu, who actively participated in the programme, appreciated the efforts of CRPF in organizing the event. While planting the tree, Ashish Kumar Jha, Commandant 166 Bn CRPF appealed all officers, jawans and others present there to implement the programs 'Plant trees; Save trees' for the protection of environment. |
