| Escaped accused caught within 24 hours | | |

Kathua, May 5: Team of Police Station Hiranagar today rearrested the accused who yesterday broke Police custody near Hiranagar Court Premises and fled away. The accused namely Sagar son of Manjeet Rai resident of Chak Lohat tehsil Samral Ludhiana is involved in FIR no 71/2019 under section 8/15 NDPS Act of PS Hiranagar. Police team of Police Station Hiranagar arrested him at Lakhanpur while he was trying to flee towards Punjab. Police initiated legal proceedings in this regard. |
