Some works recently have been undertaken by Urban Environmental Engineering Department (UEED) to the extent of diverting city flow emerging in Devika. Jamwal said that district administration as well as UEED never bothered to take the civil society in confidence. It never made public the location of works such as: three sewerage plants, three small scale power plants, three solar power plants, and from where the work of 129.27 kilometers of sewerage network has to take flight. The main work of augmentation of Devika water, encroachment has been avoided which is the main priority. That speaks of eye wash of the project. |
