BVMH School observes 'World Environment Day' | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, June 5: Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School Udhampur held plantation drive under the Supervision by the Principal of the School Renu Sharma on the occasion of 'World Environment Day'. World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5 across the globe to create awareness for environment and importance of protecting the planet Earth. She expressed her views this day gives stress on the importance of our active participation in environment conservation. She encouraged the students to participate for this activity. Environment is a gift to us, save and secure it. She told that living in harmony with nature is the only way to avoid a catastrophic situation on Mother Earth. In view of this, our students took a step ahead to participate and contribute their best for the change. Observing the rapid and drastic climate change, Staff and students planted tree saplings, contributing a bit to the environment. Partap Singh, Varun Sharma, Jeevan Kumar and other staff were present on the occasion. |
