Sunderbani, June 16: Hundreds prominent people of different villages of block Qila Darhal held protest against public health engineering (PHE) department Nowshera lack of drinking water. They alleged that department always discrimination with us border areas people.
Protesters Jaswant Singh, Bikram Singh, Bopinder Singh, Ikhlaq Ahmed, Shajjan Akther, Fajlulla Khan and others said that PHE department Nowshera is not paying any attention for the supply of water from one month in Shaheed Garh Qila Darhal people of this area walk far flang to got drinking water many scheme and crores rupees have been spend by the government but still no water is supply to the people of this dry area student and old people age of 80 years old walk many mile to got drinking water in present days of summer.
One old man Jaswant Singh fell down and got injuries when he was on way to drinking water the public of this area will approach Deputy Commissioner Rajouri.
If PHE department not give supply water to this area then the people of this area will block highway and protest against PHE department Nowshera. |
