BJP fact finding committee on Leh Press Club allegation submits report

Leh, June 17: A high-level fact-finding committee framed by Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir has submitted its final report regarding the baseless accusations alleged by few local media persons from Press Club, Leh.
Few local media persons from Press Club, Leh made baseless accusations after the days of Press Conference conducted by BJP leaders on 2nd of May 2019. While other media persons from there denied occurrence of any such episode. BJP leaders also outrightly rejected any such misconduct on their part.
Constituted on the directions of BJP National President & Union Home Minister Amit Shah, 3-Member Fact Finding Committee comprised of the Justice (Retd.) G. D. Sharma, IGP (Retd.) S. S. Bijral and Dr. Pallav submitted its report to the BJP National Vice-President and Prabhari for J&K, Avinash Rai Khanna at Jammu.
Avinash Rai Khanna, said that the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to fight the menace of corruption tooth and nail and any such type of activity by any of our party leader or worker as alleged by any person is sure to come under party hammer.
Khanna, said that immediately taking cognizance of the matter, party high command led by party National President directed to set up a high-level enquiry commission to thoroughly probe the matter. He informed that the committee headed by Justice (Retd.) G. D. Sharma visited the spot in Leh to have first-hand information of all ground facts and has finally submitted the report.
Khanna, added that with in a record time the committee has completed its probe by talking to every concerned person like Civil and Police Administration as well as all Prominent persons concerned. Committee cross-examined all the facts and persons concerned like Leh, Press Club members and BJP leaders before drafting its final report. Khanna further informed that the complete report on the matter will be handed over to the BJP National President for the final course of action. BJP National President & Union Home Minister Amit Shah will himself look into the matter for taking the final call, he said.
