Jammu, June 17: People of tehsil Kahara and tehsil Chirralla of district Doda have demanded sanction of government degree college at centra place at Lalaran or Joura Khurd. Anil Kumar, Sarpanch Halqa Panchyat Joura Kalan said that many government employees and Army personnel of these Tehsils have kept their families at headquarter Thathri for the education of their children. This has caused great scarcity of accommodation & the rent rates are higher than even those at Jammu, Doda or Kishtwar and how can the poor students who want to continue their higher studies, can afford such high rents in addition to other essential expenses. They requested Governor SP Malik to consider their demand without any further delay. |
