| JMC organizes awareness campaign on cleanliness | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, June 20: An awareness campaign of "Swachh Bharat Mission Summer Engagement of students" was organized by Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
As a warm invitation to JMC team of Solid Waste Management by the Principal Shahnaz Choudhary, Principal Govt. Higher Secondary School, Channi Himmat, W.No. 51 Jammu (in presence of summer engagement students) to dispose off solid waste from the institution as well as society.
Romit Kumar started his lecture with the solid waste management. He told the different ways to dispose off solid waste from the school to the society. According, to him after segregation biodegradable are stored in a container and composted in month.
The programme coordinator Chameil Singh (Physical Trainer Master) arranged the sitting of the students as well as outsiders to attend the programme.
Another awareness and practical demonstration regarding Solid Waste Management is taken up by members of SWM team of JMC at Durga Nagar Park, Ward No.64. Master Jorawar Singh started his lecture with the solid waste management. He told people that how to prepare compost from organic waste of the homes. |
