Jammu, June 20: Jodhamal Public School, Jammu organized Summer Camp "Oasis" in the first three weeks of June. Around 200 children explored their potential and expressed their creativity in various activities. The closing ceremony of this camp "Oasis" was witnessed by the Trustee, Nandan Kuthiala and the Director Arati Kuthiala appreciated the proactive approach from parents to identify, nurture and admire the efforts made by experts and coaches to train the kids. The kids showcased their talent in instrumental music, Art-sketching, dance, communication and different sports activities during these 15 days. The little chefs prepared mouth watering dishes in the fireless cooking club coordinated by Urmila Koul. Parents enjoyed the delicious healthy food prepared by the kids and appreciated the exhibition of Art & craft group. The certificates of appreciation were given to the children for their participation in "Oasis" by the Vice Principal Shefali Sanwal and the Administrative Officer B.B Sharma. The welcome address was presented by the Vice Principal Shefali Sanwal. Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator junior school delivered the vote of thanks. During OASIS all the participating students had a choice of one creative activity amongst Hindi Theatrical Fest, Guitar / Casio, Dance, Calligraphy, Art - Sketching, Fireless Cooking & Salads, Communication & Table manners and one sports activity Swimming, Football, Cricket, Badminton and Basketball. |
