Doda, June 20: Bhanu Upadhyay, Inspector General (Ops) SSB Force Hqr New Delhi accompanied with Manvendra Negi, DIG SHQ(Spl-Ops) Jammu and Ajay Kumar, Commandant 07 Bn visited to check the security arrangement of the Companies of 07 Bn SSB deployed in the jurisdiction of Doda axis. Presently 03 Companies of this unit are deployed for Counter Insurgency and Internal security duties in Doda axis.
During the visit at D-Company SSB Khellani, an OPS meeting was carried out with SSP Doda, SP (OPS) Doda and Army Officers of 10 RR & 159 TA Dogra. Various issues in order to enhance the improvement in security and Law & Order duties were discussed during this meeting. IG (Ops) SSB also interacted with Jawans of D-Company SSB Khellani. Various directions about Security, Counter Insurgency and Internal security were conveyed by IG (OPS). He also directed to make best relations with local population and help locals during any untoward situations i.e. natural calamities etc. During the visit plantation of trees by Bhanu Upadhyay, IG (Ops), Manvendra, DIG SHQ (Spl-Ops) Jammu and Ajay Kumar, Commandant 07 Bn was also carried out at Batote. |
