Jammu, June 20: A Srinagar court on Thursday rejected bail applications of two persons in a murder case. Mohammad Waseem Bhat and Adil Bashir were booked by the police station Harwan, Srinagar, in FIR No. 03/2019 under sections 302,120. Fourth Additional Sessions Judge Srinagar Haq Nawaz Zargar rejected the bail applications of the duo after hearing both the sides.
The court observed that on 25/2/2019, the deceased was left in an unconscious state by the accused at his residence and thereafter he died in the house. It is alleged that accused had tortured the deceased.
The court further observed that as per the police report, the investigation is going on and a further enquiry is still pending in the case and at this stage if the accused are admitted to bail, they will hamper the investigation and it also pass a wrong signal in the society and boost the morale of such culprits. |
