| J&K's Shivani wins silver in national Lead and Bouldering competition | | |

JAMMU, June 23: Shivani Charak, an international climber of J&K added another medal to her kitty by winning a silver medal in Bouldering in women's category on the third day of IMF All India Lead and Bouldering competition being organized by IMF East Zone Committee at Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Darjeeling. Prateeksha, an international climber from Bangaluru won the Gold medal. Ajay Deep Singh who had won two gold medals in the last All India Competition held at IMF, Delhi could not repeat his performance in this competition. He was tied at the 5th place with Arun Deep Singh in the semi-final in lead climbing competition in the Boys category and though he gave much improved performance in the final round yet he missed the podium finish by a whisker and had to contend with the 4th position. Arun Deep Singh finished 6th. |
