Drowned boy's body retrieved after 9 days | | | Early Times Report
DODA, June 23: The body of 12th class student of Government Higher Secondary School Ghat, Doda who was drowned in Neeru Nallah last week, recovered on Sunday. As per reports available with Early Times, the body of the boy namely Sohaib Ahmed Son of Farooq Ahmed Malik resident of Hanch, Malwana today retrieved from the Neeru Nallah after nine days. The incident happened on June 14 when three students were taking bath in Neeru Nallah when the boy slipped from the boulder and drowned into nallah. The body was fished out after the hectic efforts of NGO Ababeel members along with other rescuers, who continued the rescue for 9 days and fished out the body from Neeru Nallah and was shifted to District Hospital Doda for autopsy. Later, after the completion of all the legal formalities body was handed over to family members of the deceased. |
