MENDHAR, July 8: A large number of residents of Mankote areas of Mendhar lodged a protest against Power Development Depart-ment (PDD) for frequent power cuts in their areas.
Local residents of Mankote said that the PDD doesn't adhere to the schedule due to which the students preparing for examination are facing hardships. "When PDD installed meters in our area we were told that we would get power supply round the clock, but their promises turned out to be a hoax," residents said.
The situation in un-metered and remote villages of Mankote Ghani , Salani, Sagra and baloni is no different and people are facing acute power shortage. |
