Congressmen deserting sinking ship: BJP leader | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9: Accusing Congress of blaming its failure on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sang (RSS) and Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), state executive member of Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP), Raman Suri today said several Congress stalwarts are now deserting a sinking ship for the simple reason that they see no future for themselves as well as party. Marred with sycophancy, family rule and corrupt practices, Congress has lost its sheen and its leaders are blaming it on RSS and BJP. Reacting to statement of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi wherein he said, "stated objectives of RSS, the capture of our country's institutional structure, is now complete. Our democracy has been fundamentally weakened. There is a real danger that from now on, elections will go from being a determinant of India's future to a mere ritual," Raman Suri said that a defeated, dejected and rejected Congress is coming out with its frustration. The BJP leaders said according to Rahul Gandhi had Congress won general polls then democracy would have been strengthened but since BJP has won it stands weakened. Lauding the efforts of Prime Minister in giving world a clean, effective and transparent government which stand recognized even by world leaders, Raman Suri asked party functionaries and workers to highlight NDA's programmes and policies so that their benefits could reach the last person in the line. |
