As the annual Amarnath Yatra has already commenced and weather plays a significant role in trekking the hilltop, the Meteorological department has predicted a short spell of rain in parts of Baltal and Chandiwari- the only routes towards the holy cave, during the next 12 hours.
The MeT spokesman said that throughout the Yatra route, there are chances of a short spell of rains in isolated places. “Although chances are less, the spokesman said. “No significant weather for next 12 hours,” he added. |
