CJM Kishtwar initiated Robkar against SHO, IO | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, July 12: Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar today initiated a Robkar proceeding against SHO P/S Kishtwar Aijaz Ahmed Wani, Head constable Ghulam Ahmad No. 66/KTR for dishonouring before the learned CJM Kishtwar. CJM Kishtwar while taking the erring official to task asked them to file the reply with in a week's time. The bone of contention that lead to Robkar was that the IO has handed over the Investigation in an offence to the head constable, who was not competant to investigate the matter as per the procedure laid down by the Supreme Court of India. Further learned CJM Kishtwar directed the erring HC to furnish bail bond to the tone of 10000. During inquiry the erring head constable disclosed to Hon'ble court that he was the IO of the case which led to the controversy as the said Police Official is not authorized to represent in the Court while as per the laid down precedence, SHO should be presented in the court instead of the Head Constable. Later, the said police Head Constable according to police sources was suspended by the senior police official after CJM take the note of laxity on part of the police. |
