Jammu, July 20: Activists of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today staged a protest demonstration outside DC Office, demanding increase in number of seats of medical and commerce streams in newly opened colleges of Jammu. The students had a confrontation with the police personnel, who tried to stop them from marching towards DC Office. Their demands include, introduce commerce in MAM college, Marh, Mishriwala, shift GDC Kunjwani from MAM college to GHSS Channi Himat, make GCW Bhagwati nagar Co- Head, increase intake capacity of colleges of Cluster University beside others. |
