Jammu, July 23: The students of Jodhamal Public School left a mark in the National Cadet Corps' ten-day long camp at Nagrota, Jammu. They were felicitated by the principal of the Institution, Dr. Deep Khare, for their exceptionally well performance in the camp. The Camp which took place at the NCC camping ground Nagrota, was attended by the Junior Cadets of the School in the same month. Activities like shooting, essay writing competition, extempore competition and Cultural programmes were held at the place among the Cadets. The Camp invited Junior as well as Senior Naval Cadets from all over the state. The Cadets experienced a Non-Civilian life being away from home for ten days while learning a ton about the Naval Operations. They were taught about the Missiles and Arms used for defense & attack along with various kinds of Ships used for patrolling and at times of war. Besides this, the cadets were also taught about Semaphore which is used for communicating at sea with the help of flags. It was a fascinating sight to see the Cadets perform their Morning Drills with a quintal of energy. The Evenings in the camp saw them play in teams, provoking team spirit among the cadets. 19 Students from Jodhamal Public School namely Prachi Motiyal, Angel Choudhary, Pratishtha, Kanak Gupta, Syona Gupta, Aarzu Manhas, Samridh Sharma, Sambav Arora, Shivain Prashar, Gurtej Singh, Aman Gupta, Siddharth, Abhinandan Randhawa, Dhruv, Palmer Singh, Chaitanya, Tanuj Arora, Antriksh Gupta and Chirag Mahajan. |
