Two OGWs arrested during CASO in Bandipora | | | Early Times Report BANDIPORA, July 25: The security forces on Thursday arrested two active Over Ground Workers (OGWs) of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Turuk Nad Tukpora village of Bandipora in north Kashmir. Officials told that both the OGWs were arrested in Apple orchard in Turnadi Turkpora Village of Bandipora district during hours long CASO, which was launched in this morning following the inputs about the presence of militants. A police official said that following the specific inputs about the presence of militants in Turuk Nad Turpora area of Bandipora district, CASO was launched by the police alongwith 27 Rashtriya Rifles of Army. He said that during CASO, two OGWs were arrested and arms and ammunitions were also recovered from their possession. The duo was identified as Mohd Saleem Gojar of Turuk Nad Turknad and Mohd Ismail of Rajouri. Police said the duo were active OGWs of HM outfit, adding that a case under FIR number 80/2019 under section 7/25 Act has been registered in Police Station Bandipora and investigation is going on. |
