| Police solves theft case , stolen jewellery, cash recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 25: Reports said that on 24-07-2019 one Geeta Devi Wife of Satinder Pal resident of Dhariwal, Gurdaspur, Punjab A/P W.No. 6, Ramgarh, Samba lodged a written report at PP SMGS Hospital that her purse containing cash Rs. 3600/- and gold ornament (locket) weighing 2.9 grams had been stolen from SMGS Hospital, Jammu. On this, case FIR No. 55/2019 U/S 379 RPC was registered at P/S City and investigation initiated.
During investigation, several suspects were rounded up and questioned, witnesses were examined and leads developed - based on which one lady named Mehnaz Akhter Wife of Farooq Ahmed Mughal Resident of Bill Gunthal Tehsil Surankot District Poonch was apprehended. Based on her disclosure, the stolen locket and cash were recovered from her possession. Further investigation is going on. |
