"Shrimad Bhagwat Katha" organized by JYBT concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 25: A week long "Shrimad Bhagwat Katha" a spiritual programme on the auspicious occasion of holy Shravan maas organized by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT), Jammu/Haridwar in collaboration with "Narayan Seva Sansthan Udaipur (Rajasthan)", a reputed social/spiritual organization, concluded here at Om Palace, near AG Office, Jai Hind Chowk, Shakti Nagar. The Katha culminated with chanting of Vedic Mantras, conducting of Havan and with Puran Ahuti as well. A large numbers of devotees coming from far off areas participated in Bhagwat Katha programme during the week and sought blessings of lord Krishna, Lord Shiva and Maa Bhagwati Ji. The Katha was organized by the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu to receive funds for the welfare of the orphans, physically challenged destitute and needy persons and to create spiritual awareness among the devotees in large. As committed by the Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust Jammu a team of expert doctors of Narayan Seva Sansthan who reached Jammu on July 23 for undertaking free medical check-up of all such physically handicapped persons. The team conducted proper medical check-up of the patients at Jammu. Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust has donated an amount of Rs 551000 for conducting the further treatment / operations of such physically handicapped persons recommended by the team of doctors said Pawan kumar Shastri, President Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust. |
