Jammu, July 25: Adv. Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation visited Mubarak Mandi Heritage and mediate the matter arised their between heritage administration and local of the area. As the renovation and preservation work of Mubarak Mandi is going on and the heritage administration asked to the locals of the area to take their vehicles out of the Mubarak Mandi complex and the locals on protest against these orders as they parked their vehicles in the parking situated in side of the heritage complex after getting the information Purnima Sharma rushed to the site and intervene the matter and take up the matter with Divisional Commissioner Jammu and the Div Comm assured the general public that he sort out the matter within days. Due to her efforts, a government order was sanctioned for the Constitution of a Committee for formalizing the plan for Mubarak Mandi Jammu in which Administrative Secretary (Tourism Department) is the Chairman, Administrative Secretary (Estates Department), Divisional Commissioner, Jammu ; Executive Director (Mubarak Mandi Jammu Heritage Society) is member Secretary and Chief Town Planner Jammu are the members of the Committee. The committee shall be serviced by the tourism departure and shall submit it's report within a period of 15 days for the issuance of this order. |
