Mankotia seeks separate statehood for Jammu, domicile & Article 371 | | | Early Times Report Udhampur, Aug 8: Reiterating the demand of Separate Statehood for Jammu region, JKNPP President and Former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia said that all the issues were strongly raised by Panthers Party in Assembly as well as on roads including Reorganisation of State, 5 year Assembly Tenure, Dissolution of Legislative Council, property rights to women, Citizenship rights to West Pakistani refugees, Constitute Delimitation commission, One nation One flag, One Nation One Law, Complete rights to Panchayats & Local body, Reservation for Schedule Tribes etc. Mankotia added. Mankotia also appreciated the decision of Central Government on resolving maximum issues in one stoke but also demanded statehood for Jammu region along with domicile & Article 371 on the pattern of Himachal Pradesh. Mankotia stated that from last 70 years patriotic people of Jammu Region were facing discrimination due to Kashmiri Leadership & now Central Government has linked again Jammu with Kashmir which hurts the sentiments of Patriotic Dogras.
