| Schools to remain closed in Jammu on Friday, reopen in Samba | | |

Jammu, Aug 8: Jammu district administration on Thursday said that the schools would remain closed on Friday for the fifth consecutive day as a preventive measure in the wake of abrogation of Article 370.
DC Jammu Sushma Chauhan has said that all private and government schools, colleges and academic institutions would remain closed tomorrow also.
However, DC Samba Rohit Khajuria said that all the educational institutions viz government and private schools would re-open with effect from tomorrow to function as usual.
Meanwhile university of Jammu shall remain closed on 9th August 2019.The University has also postponed all UG and PG examinations to be held on 9th & 10th August 2019( Friday & Saturday). New Schedule for holding various examinations shall be notified separately. |
