Jammu, Aug 8: Youth of Jammu and Kashmir studying in various parts of the country have appealed Union as well as state government to restore the mobile services in the state especially in Chenab valley, Poonch and Rajouri districts. "We have been failed to contact our parents for the last few days due to snapping of internet facilities. Atleast the services must be restored for few minutes in the area, so that we will able to communicate with our parents", a girl from Doda, studying in New Delhi said. She further said that on one hand the government has been claiming that the situations have been normal and people have been celebrating but it has converted most of the areas into a virtual jail, except few districts of Jammu, where mobile services are still intact. "We are totally unaware about the well being of our parents as well as nears and dears. Such undemocratic decisions cannot be tolerated in the biggest democracy of the world", the students said, adding that mobile services must be restored without any further delay, or the government should evolve a mechanism to restore communication between people. |
