| Anti Ragging Committee meeting held at SCN | | |

Jammu, Aug 26: An Anti Ragging Committee meeting was held in Stephens College of Nursing (under the Aegis of Dr. Aparna Educational Trust) on the college premises. The preventive measures taken by the Institution to curb the menace of ragging were told by the members of Anti Ragging Committee and the remedial measures which have to be taken further for Academic Session 2019-20 were also discussed. The letter received from the office of CDC University of Jammu regarding Racial Abuse and hazards of ragging was deliberated in the meeting, the committee in unanimity decided that all measures will be taken to curb these social evils . The Anti Ragging Committee also decided to formulate SOP's for lodging of complaint in the event of any act of ragging. The Anti Ragging Committee constituted Anti Ragging Squads for Academic block and for all hostels. The committee approved the names of Anti Ragging Committee members for Session 2019-20. The posters depicted agony and consequences of ragging were also made by the students of the college which was appreciated by the committee. The Committee also decided to place the flex boards at prominent places depicting helpline numbers and what constitutes ragging and punishment thereafter if anyone indulges in the act of ragging. |
