Jammu, Sept 3: Jajjahr Kotli police today registered a case under POCSO Act.
Sources said that on basis of complaint filed by father of the victim girl police has registered a case. "The girl was alone at home when a local youth from same community (Gujjar), entered the house and forcefully raped on her, and escaped from the spot after committing the crime", sources said, adding that latter the girl narrated her ordeal to her parents when they returned home.
The family rushed to Police Station and on basis of complaint a case has been registered. "The victim girl was 17years old, so the case under POSCO Act has been registered and the accused has been arrested", they added. |
