Filmmaker takes Jammu artists to concealed location, CB assures speedy action | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sep 3: Jammu Crime Branch that had sent the complaint charge file against Shahid Kazmi, a local film director to Srinagar Crime Branch today informed that action likely to be initiated soon against the alleged culprit. "The complaint file no CPO/CLT/2019/648/17483 dated 20.7.2019 against Shahid Kazmi was immediately moved to Srinagar headquarters, but due to turn of events in the state, many processes got stalled. Soon the cases will be taken up," informed Crime branch, Jammu. Meanwhile the alleged accused charged of casting couch and swindling money from the local artists, evading Crime Branch action is shooting for his next film by taking Jammu artists at a concealed location. Though Kazmi avoided media call for getting located, he in his last statement had confirmed that his casting manager, who manages his media consultancies had assured him to not give heed to any Jammu media. Malik Masood who has filed the complaint in Crime Branch against Kazmi also said that immediately after the complaint, he started getting threatening messages from different corners. "Under such circumstances fearing for my life, I approached Crime Branch Jammu to take follow up action. The higher authorities assured that action would have taken up promptly but due to prevailing situation in Kashmir, process was delayed. However, they have assured speedy action against Shahid Kazmi," said Masood. |
