JTC, SKF demand release of political leaders under house arrest

Jammu, Sep 7: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) Soan Front (SKF) J&K and PCC Migrant Cell J&K was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, President, JTC/SKF J&K and co-concenor of PCC Migrant cell J&K. The meeting was attended by the office bearers and members. While addressing the participants Shadi Lal Pandita has said that since the date Art. 370 and 35A has been abrogated the leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee in J&K have been kept under house arrest which has given serious setback to the democratic set up. Pandita has said that the leaders of ruling party are free to hold seminars and public meetings but the leaders of Pradesh Congress Committee are under house arrest. Pandita has demanded that all political leaders need to be released to have interactions with the general masses. Pandita has said that snapping of mobile and internet services has put the general masses to lot of sufferings and the business class, students as well as general masses have been put to sufferings and huge financial loss. Pandita has further said that due to prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley have been facing threat to their lives as such he has demanded proper security and safety of the Migrant employees in Kashmir Valley. Pandita has said that various teachers and other employees appointed under PMs employment package who had returned to Jammu due to prevailing unrest could not return back to their duties as such has demanded release of salaries of such employees to avoid any suffering to these employees.
