| Situation peaceful in Poonch; mobile, landline service restored: Police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that the situation by and large is peaceful while mobile and landline service has been restored in bordering Poonch district.
"Many activities are being undertaken to maintain normalcy and the situation has been by and large peaceful in the district," said a senior police official in a security review meeting.
He also mentioned that mobile and landline connectivity has been restored fully and essential supplies and services are ensured for the people.
The SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral gave a brief on the security situation in the border district Poonch post abrogation of article 370 and appraised the meeting about the security plan of the police District administration. |
