JKCCA, KT Kala, KGNACS to organize international show | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu in collaboration with K T Kala, Amritsar and KGN Art & Cultural Society, Amritsar are going to organize 5th International Art Exhibition at K T Kala, 21, Lawrence Road Extension opposite Nayyar Hospital, Amritsar from 9th to 11th September. A total of 33 participants from the states of Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, New Delhi, Uttra Khand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajsthan, Gujrat and Maharashtra will display their talent in the projected show. Ramesh Arora, MLC Jammu & Kashmir will be the chief guest of the inaugural function and would inaugurate the exhibition in the presence of Prof. Laxmi Kanta Chawla as guest of honour and Rajesh Raina, Secretary KT Kala and Sh. Baldev Gambhir, veteran artist from Amritsar (Punjab) will be the special guests on this occasion. O P Sharma, Director, JKCCA told that the art works of senior artists Jang S. Verman, Aslam Naqishbandi, O P Sharma, Kamalnain Bhan, Subash Anand and Mohd. Akram Khan would be displayed in the segment of Jammu & Kashmir artists in the 5th International Art Exhibition of JKCCA at Amritsar. The other artists whose work would be displayed in the show include Shivani Koul Bhat and Deepa Soni (J&K), Dr. Mamta Singh (uttra Khand), V S Rahi (New Delhi), Kusum Chouhan (Haryana), Dr. Nathu Lal Verma (Rajsthan), Kanu Patel (Gujrat), Ramesh Bhasale (Maharashtra), Pratima Sing (uttar Pradesh), Prerana Mitra (Madhya Pradesh), Minu Dey (West bengal) and K S Gill, Iqbal Singh, Dharminder Sharma, Priyanka Sharma, Mala Chawla, Ravinder Dhillon, Atul Mattu and Kavi Chouhan (Punjab). |
