| Samba police conducts mock drill to counter "Fidayeen Attack" | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, Oct 5: District Police Samba conducted a mock drill to counter "Fidayeen Attack" in the jurisdictional area of PP Rajpura of District Samba in which about 70 to 80 Police personnel as a part of different components were deployed as per the strategic plan.
The drill was conducted as a part of routine rehearsal and capacity building measure to deal with any problematic situation. The mock drill was based on a specific plan involving "deployment of Police component at the minimum duration to the place of incident". As per deployment plan, police manpower were deployed to thwart any nefarious designs of the anti national elements. The ultimate objective was to secure the lives and property of the people in such situations.
The whole exercise was conducted under the personal supervision of SSP Samba in which Addl. SP Samba, Dy. SP Hqrs Samba, Dy. SP Police Component Samba, IC PP Rajpura took part actively. |
