Jammu, Oct 5: The Department of Youth Services & Sports District Jammu had hosted Inter District Divisional Level Competitions in the sports disciplines of Shooting AAG Boys & Girls at IDPS, Channi, Jammu. The competitions were organised under the patronage of Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman, worthy Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, Srinagar and under the Chairmanship of Sh. Madan Lal, Joint Director, Youth Services & Sports Jammu whereas Sh. Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports officer Ramban, was the Organising Secretary of the said competitions.
In all 5 Districts of Jammu Division were took part in the competition. Earlier in the inaugural function Smt. Priya Sethi Ex. Minister of Education interacted with the participants and wished them all the best in the competition. The ZPEO, R.S. Pura Smt. Chander Kanta and Smt. Randeep Wazir, Principle of IDPS, Jammu along with convenors and technical officials were present at the venue. The winner and runner up teams were appreciated with medals and trophies. The main objective of the competitions was to select the participants for next level of competitions coming ahead.
Today's Results Shooting AAg (Boys & Girls) District Jammu wins overall championship while District Doda wins overall Runner up championship. Matches were officiated by panel of experts of YSS, Department. |
