Jammu, Oct 8: On the holy festival of Durga Navami, a Mata Ki Chowki was organized by the Traders Federation Ware House - Nehru Market in Nehru Market. Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Chander Mohan Gupta, former Deputy Chief Minister of the state Kavinder Gupta, former MLA Rajesh Gupta, BJP's Jammu district President Baldev Singh and SP South Vinay Gupta were mainly present during the occasion. Federation President, Ratan Lal Gupta welcomed the guests by offering them Mata Ki Chunri, while General Secretary Deepak Gupta prayed for peace and mutual brotherhood in the state. On this occasion, Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta assured the traders that they will get rid of Lakhanpur toll tax by the next Navratri. He said that after the formation of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Lakhanpur toll tax will be abolished. He said that traders have been demanding the removal of Lakhanpur toll tax since the implementation of GST and now this demand will be fulfilled very soon. On this occasion Sr. Vice President of Federation Dheeraj Gupta, Vc. President Munish Mahajan, Secretary Abhimanyu Gupta and Cashier Vishal Gupta were also present. |
